Be prepared for you Penang trip by making sure you know the correct Malaysia plug type and have your travel adaptors and/or extensions packed.
Even the most minimalist traveller to Penang will be packing an electrical device, and on the other end of the scale, worldschooling families are likely to be travelling with a myriad of devices.
In this digital age it’s very rare to find a traveller who doesn’t rely on electronic devices to some extent. I mean, where would we be without Google Maps? And you’ll need a charged phone for using Grab in Penang, as this e-hailing taxi service is the easiest way to get around the island.
